Safety and Health Come First at Phoebe and Friends!

During a meticulous introduction-screening process, all dogs will be carefully interviewed and selected prior to being admitted into Phoebe and Friends Dog Day and Night Care.  This program isn’t just for any dog.

We require a Health Certification (form provided) to verify veterinarian medical records for all current vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPPC, and Bordatella.  All dogs must be healthy, intestinal parasite-free, and be on a monthly flea and tick treatment, such as Nexgard or Frontline Plus, as well as a heartworm treatment.

All dogs must be friendly with other dogs and people.  In a separate area, new dogs will be introduced to the other furry friends under close staff supervision.  No aggressive dogs are allowed.

All dogs, 6 months or older, must be spayed or neutered.  Puppies must be at least 3 months of age and have the required series of puppy vaccines.

To ensure the safety of the dogs while on walks, we require that all puppies and dogs wear a Martingale-style training collar.  The training-safety collars can be purchased at the facility or rented for a $3 per day fee for all dogs attending daycare.
